I read about Nature's Domain (Exclusive to Costco) on another BB today.

I didn't do a Costco run this weekend, but didn't notice any different dog kibble last weekend.  We feed TOTW Pacific Stream Salmon to our three dogs now.  A 30 lb bag at our local feed store is $44.59 without tax.   Someone posted about Nature's Domain - which is exclusive to Costco.  A 35 lb bag is $27.99.  The address for Taste of the Wild and Nature's Domain are both in Meta, MO and are EXACTLY the same address:

PO Box 156
Meta, MO 65058

So, of course I had to call  them.  Natures' Domain is exclusive to Costco.  The ingredients are a bit different as confirmed by Customer Service also.

If you feed TOTW Pacific Stream, would you try this for your dogs?

We have transitioned to Nature's Domain from Eagle Pack Holistic. We are on our second bag and so far so good. We have noticed an improvement in her coat, she seems to like the food and have not had any negative's so far. We changed foods due to price, we did not have any problems with Eagle Pack.

Mark made a Costco run for me yesterday and came home with a pallet of this.  I bought a few bags last week and the dogs confirmed that we're changing over

Woo hoo!!!!  Mr. Hank will hopefully be the next satisfied customer   I have to say I haven't had any bad experiences with the Kirkland brand stuff for people, so I have my fingers crossed for Nature's Domain.

Hi Sarah,
The one great thing I've noticed is that they don't have runny stools on this new food.  The Kirkland is good food, but cleaning up is a mess because it's cow patty consistency.  Mark also bought a pallet of the Kirkland chicken, so I'm thinking about mixing the food and see how that goes.

The new food is $6.00 more per bag and it's 35 lbs. vs. 40 lbs. with the Kirkland for $22.00.  More expensive, but I'm thinking it's worth it.

I'm gonna give it a try too. Been feeding Kirkland Chicken and Rice for years with good success, but I'd like to see how they do on this. They might enjoy the change too.

I didn't have good luck with the Kirkland Chicken and Rice but will stop by on my way home and get a bag of the Nature's Domain and give it a try.  Thanks for the information

Mary,

The Costco by you doesn't have this food yet.  I have asked that they bring it in and that was about a month ago.  I was just there on Thursday and they didn't have it yet.

So, don't waste the trip if you are going just for this food.

I switched one of dogs with coat issues over to the Nature Domain Salmon food and the coat is fabulous and the weight is good and the cost is much more reasonable that most.

If you want this food in your Costco, call the company that makes it and ask them to stock it. I called a few weeks ago, since they didn't have it in Ohio. I told her how many huge dogs I had, how many people in this area have giant breeds, and how I've often recommended other foods to people. She said she would pass the info along, and that I should fill out a comment card asking for it the next time I was at Costco.  About a week ago, someone from the company called and told me the food would be in my Costco within 2 weeks, and thanked me for my business. He also said they had received so many inquiries that they plan to stock it in most Costcos within the next several months.

I just called the Northwest Region Dog Food person for Costco and he said that he has been trying to get this up here but so far no luck.  He suggested I call the dog food company, which I did email them.  The closest to me is Northern Calif.  This is FYI.

I called my local Costco (Kennesaw, GA).  They do not stock the food.  They suggested next time that I'm in the store to complete a request form.

It's in Ohio now, too. We just bought some and are very happy with it so far. The rep I spoke to said it would be in all Costco stores shortly.

I am in Quebec/Canada and do not have it yet.
I sent emails to Nature's Domain and Costco and nobody know if it will ever be available here!
I want to try it!

As of last week we did not have it at my Costco (NJ), I made sure I filled out a request form for it.  Hoping they have the Natures Domain on my next dog food run.

We just transitioned over to the Turkey & Sweet Potato version of this...and so far so good, including finally eating a whole bowl of dog food!!!

For those of you who have been feeding, how is it going?  Has anyone tried to the Turkey version yet?

We are on our 3rd bag of Turkey. So far no problems. Thinking of alternating back and forth between the Salmon and Turkey, just to keep it interesting. Several bags of one and then several bags of the other

Both of my dogs have been on the salmon & sweet potato since March (had to check the date of my earlier post on this thread!).  They LOVE it and stools are nice & firm.  It's $5 off per bag for a few more days too--time to stock up!!!

We just switched to the Turkey too.  Mark just came home last week with about 60 bags.  $5 off plus our end of year rebate turned into a great savings day

Cindy--I go to the one by Cal Expo...

Jann--I think it's one for a couple more days and I'm sooo tempted to buy many, mucho, lots of bags...I'd have to store them in the house though since I've just gotten rid of an uninvited rodent in the garage & can't keep the kibble just in the bags out there...I've already packed as much as I can into three of the kibble bins Costco sells...We'll see if $5 per bag is enough to make me fill the front bedroom up with blue bags
