Hi all -

I have a 9-year-old male w/diabetes.  He is now completely blind, deaf, and his back legs seem to just go out from under him occasionally.  He's started to bark at nonexistent things throughout day/night.  Vet says it may be dementia.  How do I know when it's time to put him down?  The thought of doing so puts my stomach in knots.  We had to put down our girl last summer due to what turned out to be a brain tumor.  He's been lost without her.  His apetite is still good, doesn't seem to be in pain, but I just don't know when the right time would be w/out drawing things out for too long either.  Any input would be appreciated.  I hate this part....
