Currently living in New York, were planning on relocating our family and Mastiff to Florida. Just curious as to whether or not anyone has had issues having a mastiff with the humidity and heat in florida? If so what were they and what should we watch for?

We currently live in fl and have a mastiff puppy, our breeders are only 8 miles away and own 12 mastiffs. We have taken their suggestions and set up an outdoor kennel, with concrete slab, it's has a canopy , insulated dog house that includes a vent fan and a mister that surrounds the kennel, we have provided 3 large stainless steel bowls for water, during the months of July to late Aug we have installed a/c for the indoor kennel area in the garage attached to the house as this time of the year is most hot and humid and comprimising to the mastiffs health. Hope this info is helpful, welcome to Florida fellow mastiff lover
